Sliding glass door lock installation — Norman, OK

Last updated: September 24, 2026

What affects the price

The final price for installing a sliding door depends on a few key factors. First, the materials—like vinyl, aluminum, or wood—change the base cost significantly. Choosing double or triple-pane glass for better insulation also adds to your investment. The scale of the project matters, too; replacing an existing frame is usually cheaper than cutting a new opening in your wall. If you need custom sizing or specialized hardware, the total will adjust accordingly. We help you sort through these choices during your consultation. Exact pricing confirmed free on the call.

About this service

Adding a secondary lock to your sliding glass door adds a layer of security beyond the standard factory latch. We install heavy-duty bars, keyed locks, or foot bolts that prevent the door from being forced open from the outside. If you are concerned about home safety or want to add a child-proof barrier, this is a simple, effective upgrade. Pricing varies based on the hardware model you choose.
