Sliding glass door screen installation — Nashville-Davidson metropolitan government (balance), TN

Last updated: September 24, 2026

What affects the price

The final price for installing a sliding door depends on a few key factors. First, the materials—like vinyl, aluminum, or wood—change the base cost significantly. Choosing double or triple-pane glass for better insulation also adds to your investment. The scale of the project matters, too; replacing an existing frame is usually cheaper than cutting a new opening in your wall. If you need custom sizing or specialized hardware, the total will adjust accordingly. We help you sort through these choices during your consultation. Exact pricing confirmed free on the call.

About this service

Adding a screen allows you to enjoy fresh air while keeping bugs and debris out of your living space. We install custom-fitted screen doors that slide independently of your main glass door. You should consider this if your existing screen is torn, missing, or if you simply want better ventilation during warmer months. Costs vary based on the screen mesh type and frame durability. Exact pricing confirmed free on the call.
